Following up on Heart of Winter, this is Dominique’s second photo feature for Agate. Here, he returns to celebrate spring in Minnesota, with images that take us through the season from its earliest, most tentative beginnings. Says Dom, “The nature photographer in me relishes this all-too-brief season; spring is sensory overload. There is just too much to marvel at, see and photograph, in too short a time.” He travels widely, but especially favors the wetlands and forests of state and regional parks in Dakota, Washington and Wright Counties. “Water draws me like a magnet,” he notes.

Please check out more of his stunning images on his website.
