Video viewing tips:  For highest quality, view at full screen and select “1080p” in settings with gear icon, lower right. Viewers with slower internet speeds may wish to select Auto. To make the time/progress bar at the base of the screen disappear, move your cursor off to the side. Headphones (or max volume settings) recommended. Video run time is 5 minutes.

About the Artist

Mark Odegard lived in Marine on St. Croix for 23 years. He’s had many jobs over the years, the last three of which were teaching English in Shanghai to 1st and 2nd graders, working at Lock and Dam #1, and managing the art department at the Science Museum of Minnesota for 18 years. He is now retired and, in his words, “devoting myself to exploring creativity though my sketchbooks.”
